Asal Chat (“عسل چت”) is a Persian-language chat room available on the websites asalchat.me and arascukur.cfd and in the “Asal Chat” app for Android. By entering Asal Chat, as a guest or as a member, you accept these rules and this privacy policy.
Asal Chat is only for people aged 18 and over.
Chat rules
Respect everyone. Insults, mockery, threats, harassment and bullying are not allowed.
Obscene, political, sexual or offensive usernames are not allowed.
Political arguments and anything that insults people for their ethnicity, religion, race or gender are not allowed.
Sexual talk or content, and asking for dates or relationships, are not allowed in public rooms.
Do not share personal information — yours or anyone else's (phone numbers, addresses, other people's photos without permission, and the like).
Advertising, spam and promoting other websites or chat rooms are not allowed.
Do not impersonate admins, moderators or other users.
Illegal, violent or hateful content, scams and anything related to drugs are not allowed.
Decisions of admins and moderators are binding; send objections through “Report to the admins”, not in the public room.
Depending on how serious a violation is, we may warn, delete messages, mute, temporarily remove, or permanently ban the username and the device.
Child safety
Asal Chat has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content, conversation or request that sexualises or targets people under 18 — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and sextortion — is strictly forbidden. Such content is removed, the account is banned permanently without warning and, where the law requires it, the case is reported to the competent authorities.
If you see anything like this, report it immediately: inside the chat with the report option on a message or a user, or with the “Report abuse to the admins” button.
Reporting abuse and blocking users
The “Report abuse to the admins” button on the login page sends your report straight to the management.
Inside the chat you can report a message or a user to the moderators.
In a private conversation you can block any user so they can no longer message you.
The username and gender you choose when you enter.
For members: your password (stored only as a one-way hash that we cannot read) and the e-mail address you enter when signing up.
Optional profile information: photo, bio, city, social links, posts and stories.
Content you send: public and private messages, voice and video messages, photos and files, songs and comments.
Reports you send through the “Report to the admins” form and the reply e-mail you may add.
Information recorded automatically
IP address and the approximate country derived from it, browser and device type, and the times of your visits and activity.
A device identifier and cookies / browser storage, used to keep you signed in and to enforce bans of abusive users.
Permissions used only with your consent
Microphone and camera: only when you record a voice / video message or join a call or voice conference. Live calls and conferences are not recorded unless this is clearly announced and you agree.
Location: only if you press “Detect my city”; the coordinates are used once to find the nearest city and only the city name is stored.
Notifications: only if you turn message notifications on.
Photos and files: only the files you choose to send.
How we use this information
To run the chat: delivering messages to the people they are meant for, keeping conversation history and keeping you signed in.
For safety and moderation: preventing harassment, spam and abuse and handling reports. Authorised admins and moderators may review submitted content when handling a violation.
To answer your requests (for example a report or an account deletion).
We do not sell your information, and we never give your messages or your profile to advertisers.
Advertising: Asal Chat may show advertisements provided by Google (AdMob in the Android app, AdSense on the website). To show and measure ads, Google may use cookies, the device's advertising ID and basic device and usage information, as described in Google's policy. You can turn off personalised ads in the ad settings of your Google account, or reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Who can see it
Public messages are visible to everyone in the room; your profile and stories are visible to other users according to your own settings.
Technical service providers the site runs on (server hosting and a content-delivery / protection network such as Cloudflare) and the e-mail delivery service of the report form (FormSubmit), only as far as needed to provide that service.
Authorities, only when the law requires it.
Retention and security
Data is kept as long as it is needed to run the service and keep it safe; messages and guest accounts are deleted periodically. Your connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS) and passwords are stored hashed. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please do not write sensitive information in the chat.
Deleting your account and data
You can ask at any time for your account and the data linked to it (profile, e-mail, posts and stories) to be deleted. Open the “Report to the admins” form, choose the topic “Delete my account” and write your username. The request is completed within 30 days. Information needed to enforce bans of abusive users, or that the law requires us to keep, may be retained longer.
You can also edit or remove your profile information yourself in the user panel.
